Affiliate Disclosure

The bottom line

Pratidia earns a commission when you buy through some of the links on our site. If you click one of these affiliate links and make a purchase, the retailer may pay us. You don't pay more: the price is the same, and the retailer pays the commission.

We're telling you this because it's a financial relationship that could affect how you view our recommendations, and you deserve to know about it. This disclosure follows the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255).

In product roundups and comparisons in our Shopping section, "before you buy" guides and some product suggestions below our calculators. We don't put affiliate links in trending pieces, quizzes, astrology or readings; if we ever do, the same notice appears on that page. Every page that contains affiliate links says so in plain language at the top of the page, before the first link, so you can't miss it. A typical notice reads: "We earn a commission if you buy through links on this page."

How to recognize affiliate links:

  • They first go through a redirect address on our site (pratidia.com/go/…) and then take you to the retailer.
  • They're tagged rel="sponsored nofollow" for search engines.
  • When we share content with affiliate links on social media, the post is labeled #ad.

How we choose products

  • Our roundups are curated compilations. We don't claim to have tested or reviewed a product unless we clearly say so.
  • We compare products against criteria we explain on each page, such as budget, intended use and key features.
  • Product features come from information published by the manufacturer or retailer. We don't make up specs.
  • Brands don't pay us to be included in a list. If we ever publish paid content, it will be clearly labeled as an ad.
  • We check links regularly. If a product is no longer available, you'll see an "updating" notice on the page.

Prices

We only show prices that come from an affiliate program's official product data, along with the date they were checked. Otherwise you'll see a "check price" button instead. For Amazon products, we never show prices without Amazon's official product data interface. Prices and availability change often; the price that counts is the one you see at the retailer when you buy.

Your purchase is with the retailer

The sale is between you and the seller. Orders, shipping, returns and warranties are handled by the retailer. If you spot an error in a price or description on our site, let us know and we'll fix it.

Financial products

If we ever link to financial products such as loans or credit cards, we'll do so only through licensed comparison networks, and those pages will be reviewed by an editor before they're published. They are not financial advice either.

Our own apps

On some calculator pages we may promote apps we built ourselves. When we do, we say so.
